About

I'm Josh Flickinger, a third-year Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Central Florida specializing in digital design and additive manufacturing. My passion lies in transforming complex ideas into tangible solutions, using CAD software to design and 3D printing to bring them to life.

For as long as I can remember, I haven't just seen objects; I've seen possibilities. This innate curiosity about how things work and how to make them work better. My focus is on the powerful intersection of design and manufacturing. I am fascinated by the process of taking an idea, meticulously modeling it, and holding a physical version with the aid of tools like AutoCAD software and 3D printers.

This website is a showcase of my core philosophy: if you encounter an obstacle, learn the skill to overcome it. Whether that meant teaching myself TIG welding for a fabrication project or mastering the intricacies of 3D printing to create a custom part, I am always looking for ways to “do it myself”.
